No "fans" made Lynch's punk ass. The strength of his ideas, and I suppose the quality of his writing and the humor he's got on tap, "made his punk ass."
The guy, never published or produced, sold a script on spec to the Henson folk, about their own characters. That has *got* to be a talented guy.
He sold another script, based soley on its quality, and the strength of its "sell-abilty" to a major studio, for some buku bucks.
All this, without ever ONCE making anything that would garner him "fans."
The only fans the guy has are the errant few who read these boards. Those people "made" him an up and comer in the Hollywood script-writing scene?
Please.
But hey, maybe Kevin is not a "jackass" like Lynch, and he'll collaborate with you, and you can go over his house and play dreamcast games together.
