This is a question relating to your post about A Better Place locations. I would have asked at Vulgarthon but I'm a chicken shit.
I thought that the color of many of the outdoor shots was very saturated, especialy at the beginning of the film. Is this the case or was it just the nature of the 16mm film?
I really like experimental use of color in film, this isn't a cut at you in any way.
If you did intend to over-saturate the colors of some scenes do you consider that "imposing" yourself on the location or rather the locations real look that could only be brought out in that way? Film never does life justice in my opinion.
Another question that I have to ask but won't expect an answer to is, Based on Ryan's rant at the beach, do you believe in god? Or rather, were you also questioning his existance? If it helps to make the question seem more fair, I don't believe anymore.
