To whoever took the time out to read this:
First I want to comment on the great time I had
at V2K, I was one of the whacky canadians that drove 42 hours
and then through a blizzard to get home.
The event went off great, got to seem some great movies
met some cool and zany people, ah hell props to Michigan,
but I do have a concern about another Vulgarthon next year.
This thon was great cause it was a few years after
and we all pushed the limits of financial stability to get there
but if this becomes a yearly thing it becomes harder
and harder to justify the cost. I know I can't speak for Douglas Fir
but hell that must have cost a pretty penny, because I know
it maxed out my cards. I'm not saying it wasn't worth it, believe me it was
but year after year, I think it might take the spice out of it.
If you have it every two or three, it gives us basement dwellers
something to look forward to. Something to start a swear jar, or
or some kind of savings thing. This is kewl for say east coast inhabitants
to attend every year, but this makes it tough for us rain fearing canadians to make it to year after year. Well, who really wants our presence anyway. I've babbled enough, just voicing
some stuff.
