.. at least is has in the past for VA events... that there is a V-Thon every 2 years and usually a special screening of the new flick on the off years (Stash Bash was just a little extra something)..
But.. you had the 'Amy' showing.. then.. V-Thon 98.. then Dogma in 99.. and of course V-Thon 2000 this year.
Granted Kevin did make mention of showing all 5 flicks next year in a row at the Count Basie, but the essence of V-Thon has generally been to see movies outside of Kevin's company, not just his stuff. I loved the version of Dogma we saw, and of course the Clerks Cartoon episodes, but I'd love to wait for the next thon to be in 2002 with maybe Autograph (eh Vincent???), Nightcrawlers (Mr Lynch???) and other things that may be in the works.
Let us not forget, even though not being produced by Askew at this point, Lynch has several things in the hopper, Malcolm is working on a new project, Vulgar is comming out, and a movie being shot in the spring by a certain person to the north, staring a long loved member of the VA team. I'm sure it will make people just Drop Dead in the isles and throw Roses at the cast for a job well done.
