Why "Dude, Where's My Car?" is a hilarious movie..

First of all, let me state a few things - It's not 'smart funny', nor is it
clever. In fact, the commercials made me cringe. But, I found myself at the
theater over the weekend w/ nothing to watch, so I thought I'd check it
out. Let's see...How to describe it? This movie is TOTAL nonsense humor.
VERY funny, as long as you dig things that happen for no apparent reason.
It's like a movie I would make w/ my friends if we had a big enough budget.
For those of you who arn't exactly familiar w/ what nonsense humor IS, here
are some examples - Spaceghost Coast to Coast. SOME of Kids in the Hall.
Sifl and Olly. The movie Skitzopolis. These are all fine examples. Try to
keep in mind, though, that this is a mainstream movie, so it's not on par
w/ other staples of nonsense humor, but I've never laughed at a movie
harder in my life. Just thought I'd
