The things I always wondered about were:
Does John (Bender) ever notice Alison's nicked his knife and padlock?
What was he referring to when he said 'I've seen you, you know' and when John says to Vernon 'She doesn't speak sir' how did he know this? Did he know this?

Alley and Judd's characters were much better suited to being together. She even got him to follow the others in the hall when he thought they were going the wrong way.
