Actually, it is said that when armageddon comes, Bartelby and Loki are going to have to sit outside the gates of Heaven for all eternity. It says in the summaries at http://www.newsaskew.com/summaries/ that the ending is supposed to be left open for interpretation. I assume that God forgave Bartelby and sent him to Heaven, but that is hard to believe seeing as how he is responsible for a mass murder. Perhaps Loki is sent to Heaven though. Perhaps, I have no idea. No, I definitely have no idea.
