I agree with you that such an important symbol of man's foray into the outer reaches of the great, vacuum-filled void between the planets should not be mocked in this manner, but if I'm getting free food from the deal, I'm rooting for it to hit the bull's eye and I'm gonna enjoy my damned taco.
And don't say you won't eat yours. Sure, you'll feel little pangs of guilt as you do it (I know I will), but it's free, and such things don't occur often enough to pass them up.
