i will say this: its nice when a movie touches you, and has some depth, something important to say. but that is not the basis on which to define the merits of a movie. what comedies do you know that actually say something about the human condition? none that i can think of. comedies (pure comedies, not just movies with a few funny lines) are meant to be funny. that is their only intention. and if you think kevin's movies are meant to be anything other than comedies, you are mistaken. so if youre saying that kevin's movies have no merits as a comedy, then youre saying they're not funny, and if youre saying they're not funny, you should reexamine your existence on this earth. thank you, and good night.
