...not every player is multi-region coded. All the DVDs seem to be Region 1 coded (US/Canada), whereas Australia is region 4. Unless your player can play all regions, you will not be able to play US discs.
I have bought DVDs and other stuff through the Stash, and although the exchange rate is bloody awful, it is a small price to pay for the groovy Stash booty.
Word has it that 'A Better Place' is formatted for all regions, although I could be wrong on this (and I'm sure Vincent will correct me swiftly if I am).
Hope you are able to buy those DVDs as they are well and truly worth the price tag (even at the current exchange rate).
