: Hello, Kevin, anyone...
I'm someone
: I'm 15, and I've got a fairly o.k. idea for a screenplay, but It's hard to write anything down.
Try using a computer, works better because it's eaiser to correct your mistakes and go back to make changes. Plus you have spell check(if you have a decient computer) in case your really the best in english.
After a while I just loose track of the story line. It's really hard for me to write anything of any substance.
Stop watching tv or doing pot. Either one will work.
Right now I have 5 pages, and It's getting really hard. I just keep holding what I have written down in comparison to kevin's work and I feel useless.
You have to remember, you haven't gone to film school yet and Kevin's been a director for 7+ years so he has the experience. Your gonna have problems cause you won't know what to write and know if it's gonna be funny or not. Put it in this perspective..if it doesn't make you laugh when you read it then it probably won't make anyone else laugh either. Unless you don't have a great sense of humor, then you shouldn't be writing a comedy anyway.
: I'm just wondering if it gets easier as you get older. I've asked the question numerous times, but I'm thinking maybe this time it'll get answered.
I suppose it does cause you'll have more experience to correct your errors and get better ideas. But I'm only 16 and I've already made two movies with some friends of mine and the people I've "rented" it to to watch have said their fucking hilarous. So go figure. I'm not saying that I'll make it big or nothing but I hope some day I do.
: If anyone has an answer just jump on in. I will be forever in you debt.
You owe me a chocolate cake and some mountain dew.
Thank you very much.
Your welcome.
: oh yeah, PLEASE HELP ME!
Already did.
: -Daniel
