Look what releasing a movie while a show is running did to the popularity of The X-Files and South Park.
Immediatly after the movie, both went down the tubes (X-Files in quality, but its gotten much better; South Park mostly in popularity, its still good)
: They are apparently planning both. Clerks the Animated Movie AND a new incarnation of Clerks the Cartoon somewhere on a yet to be disclosed network (rumor is that it's Mtv but that's unconfirmed). Kevin actually hinted at this plan in a post a couple weeks ago. There ya go.
