In the book My First Movie by Stephen Lowenstein, Kevin says he hasn't seen any back end from Clerks, so I assume that Miramax made it so it look like they broke even by charging expenses back to the movie, like the soundtrack addition and promotional expenditures. I also guess that means that the deal for Clerks didn't include Kevin getting any money off of the selling of the tape to video stores or ownership. I would appreciate it, if you cleared this up for me. Thanks in advance.
