Good film, but not great. Good direction, decent (though slow moving at times) story, good acting (though no performance stood out in my mind). Definitely scores points for treating comics seriously, appropriately, and respectfully, though I thought the ending was a bit... too deliberate. The original scripted ending was much better (IMHO), much more subtle.
