: I still think this is hysterical - but this is exactly the type of thing :that I can't read too much of, or I'll start to get extremely irritated by :it.
Likewise!! This was not the first thing I should have read to-day!
People like this make me want to pick up a baseball bat.
Philosophical nosey-parkers and intellectual busybodies who are confident that THEIR way is the only way there is...and the proof that they're right is in THEIR holy "book". (Actually a collection of books, but that's another argument).
The problem with certain peoples' beliefs as opposed to good ideas (thanks Rufus) is that one of the tenets is to convert the nations. As long as there's a godly command to proselytize and spread the word - harvesting souls for the lord...then like the poor, they will always be with us.
And as long as they are with us, creativity and questions will be reviled. As the attempted removal of Harry Potter books from libraries shows, these bastards are out there in force...so keep your eyes open, li'l shavers.
Unlike the esteemed director we gather here to discourse on, I could not have stood in the midst of a crowd denegrating my work and remain silent...especailly knowing they'd not even seen the effing thing!
Mr. Smith must be the soul of patience.
Off to work
