I don't know where in NJ you are, but I'm in the New Brunswick general area, and it's 93 degrees and humid as hell, here. Thanks, I'll take the bright, lovely, springlike days we had late last week over this sauna anyday.
And we smokers get to do regular weather checks, because noone's allowed to pollute indoor air, anymore. Argh.
So I went out to enjoy my five minute break and my brandy-new Nails Zippo, and ended up breathing the 40% humidity. Ick.
Oh, yeah - here, to make this topical, I'll repost something I posted lower but don't think anyone noticed.
Last night, I was over at a friend's house, and we popped in a tape of WCW from approximately a year ago (June 2000, actually). Not once, but TWICE, during the course of that episode of Monday Nitro, was there a Kevin Smith (or actually, Jay Mewes) reference.
1. Snoochie boochies.
2. Fatty-boom-batty.
Both by the same commentator, who frankly I couldn't stand, but that's beside the point. My friends and I were floored. Just another sign that slowly but surely, the VA catchphrases are taking the world by storm. Of course, since the aspect of the world in question is professional wrestling, I'm not sure this is a good thing. But I thought some of you might get a kick out of it, anyway.
