Is from my home town (also wrote Cast Away). So I like to stick up for the only one who made out of this Hell. But I also stick up for Burton.
They shoot 4 different endings, then Burton chose what he thought gave the most suprise. So its just a concident.

: Burton didn't write the script. Burton didn't design every single element of the movie. They got art guys and stuff. What if, Joe Shmoe the art designer ripped off the comic? Or the writer? And being not that many people have read J&SB#3, no one noticed it was ripped off.
: Everyone gives directors WAY to much credit. Yes, Ed Wood was a great movie, but did Tim Burton write it?
: Not that I'm dissing him, he's a good director, when he has a good script.
