Are you guys totally fucked in the head?!?
Does anyone out there really believe that Tim Burton would steal the ending of a hundred million dollar film from a "Jay And Silent Bob" comic book? And yes, I have seen the picture and must once again ask, are you guys fucked in the head? How can this be in any way shape or form be used in some sort of half-assed accusation of theft by the great Tim Burton {I don't want to here any "Mars Attacks" jokes. I don't here anyone screaming "FRAUD" there by the way}?Kevin Smith is full of resentment. Why? You ask. What happened to "Death Of Superman" Kevin? What about your plans to revive the "JAWS" franchise Kevin. And rest assured that when he got wind of a new "Planet Of The Apes" movie he was itching in his pants to get involved. Here's the problem, Hollywood does'nt take you seriously! You can get Ben Affleck, Matt Damon ,hell you can even get Alan fuckin' Rickman but until you put a long overdue end to your Jay and Silent Bob films, Hollywood will never take you seriously. That's not to say that people don't find your films amusing, I do. But let's face it without your clever dialogue and nods to films such as "JAWS", "Batman" {who directed that?} and "Star Wars" you really don't have much. Your films are brutally acted {other than Jason Lee}character pieces that piss most people off half the time because they feel that they could direct a better picture. Well at least that's how I feel. Now saying that I must confess that I do own every Kevin Smith movie and consider myself a fan. The reason is is that Smith represents the everyman, but to put him even in the same sentance as Tim Burton is close to blasphamy. My favorite thing about this whole farce was Tim Burtons response to these accusations. "I especially wouldn't read anything that was created by Kevin Smith." Tim Burton.
