and, I might add, the link had nothing to do with your point.
If the government makes the ratings board, then it is a law. A law promoting censorship. The only reason the board is legal now is because it has no authority except that which has been granted to it by the movies themselves. If the government gave them authority, it would only take a Solondz to bring it to the Supreme Court and get the whole board dissolved. So actually, yes, I'd rather have that because it would result in the destruction of the Board.
