I am a Christian who refrains from swearing at all times, but I agree with this guy. If I use a word that is just a substitute for a real 'curse' word (such as 'frigging' instead of the more prominent F word) in my heart I still have the same bitter attitude. I keep my language clean, but it's even more vital to keep my heart clean. God does judge the heart.
(no offense punkmonkey, I'm not saying I disagree with you, however this post may sound)

: it's not the words themselves, it's the use of said words and the attitude behind them. A verbally abused wife or child would hate those words, yes, but in order for it to be verbal abuse they must have been used in a harmful way. Someone in a movie saying "put that shit in my hand" isn't trying to harm anyone, so the words are just words.
