If this has been asked many times I apologize, for I did not see it mentioned in the summaries or anywhere else.

I work at Waldenbooks, and upon searching through the computer to order the DOGMA screenplay for the store, I happened across the entry "DOGMA A NOVEL" by Kevin Smith. It was listed out-of-print, and I think the publication date was Febuary 1999. I later went online and, lo and behold, Barnes & Noble has a listing for it (under a different publication date, however).

I can't find the alleged boom in any out-of-print stores (online or off). Did this ever actually happen? Am I asking a stupid question?
