I wasn't gonna say this, but I think that there is a need to put this in perspective as you are trying to do so anyways... In 1990 war was waged on Irak. Casualties in children and women are still adding up everyday as a result of this. Hussein is still roaming free. Back here people were waving flags and dancing in the streets, passing candies around. Were there civilian casualties of the gulf war for the US? Us tree huggers have been kicking and screaming for this non-sense to stop. But hey we are fucking tree huggers, after all we love humans (any race, religion, gender, sexual orientaion) and not just the ones who happened to be born in our country. And who do we take revenge on anyways? other innocent people? Children (because retaliation is going to be in the form of air raids and children will die) workers, the poor, the sick anyone but the ones who did this. I do not want to disrespect the lives that have been lost by becoming just like the ones who did this. I demand justice, not revenge. Revenge is not defense either...
