I'm just pointing out that the reason for some of the wide differences of opinion comes from people not actually seeing all of the films or seeing them out of order. Knowing who Rick Derris is make those lines in Chasing Amy funnier. Knowing Brodie from Mallrats makes his character understandable in J&SBSB. These links are lost when seen out of order. When people go back and see the previous films they are seeing the joke KS was telling in reverse. Not bad but it does explain why people don't like Mallrats or love Chasing Amy so much. Just my opinion. Thanks for your opinion, I like good conversation. Thats what KS's movies are all about.
