The Gibson 500t and 498r are pretty hot with enough clarity to cut through the distortion, I stuck a set in a les paul studio I got in a pawn shop and ran it through an old fender bassman head. Seymour Duncans Pearly Gates pick up is nice too as is Dimarzzio's Super Distorion. Boss' Hyper Fuzz pedal is pretty sweet, it's got 2 fuzzes and an overdrive, fuzz 1 sounds like a chainsaw attacking a goat. The Snarlin Dogs pedals are all cool too if you can find them. These are just my opinions though so what the hell do I know?
