It's ironic, that whole movie is sort of about unattainability. My whole theory is that people have an ideal of love that they believe they want, but the fact is, nobody could maintain a true relationship if they haven't had certain experiences. You need to go through some negative things in order to figure out what you truly value about another person. No young person knows themselves well enough to really be in love, I mean like forever-type love.

So we pursue that ideal, but we pursue it with the wrong people, subconsciously knowing that it won't work out in the end. It's sort of odd but I think people almost need to have their heart broken. We need to experience those emotions before we can really settle down. Of course it's frustrating that one only realizes this in hindsight...I could ramble about this all day, so I'll just stop here.

: It is so sad, but SO true... of women (and men too, I think)... of wanting what we can't have. There have been guys I wasn't that interested in and the only reason appeared to be that he liked me too much too soon. Why must we torture ourselves with what we can't attain? The strangest part about it-- even 100% aware of the trap, I still can't help but fall into it.

: Thanks for the info about the timing of the routine.
