ok so last night a bunch of my friends and i got together to watch "dead alive" (we rented it from hollywood video). some of us saw it and some didnt. well this video was cut to shit!! for whatever reason they edited it to the point it made absolutly no sense (not that it really did before but at least u knew what was going on). they must have literally cut a 1/2 hr to 45 min out. it didnt say that it was edited on the box and we were tryin to figure why they would even bother editing such a gorefest of a horror movie (not to mention hysterical). someone had suggested that they might have because hollywood and blockbuster are 'family' stores but why would someone even rent dead alive for their 'family' to watch?? i had caught half of it a while back on ifc and it wasnt edited. question: anyone know why they edited it to shit and where u can get the unedited version??
bonus question: was it an english film or australian. someone had brought up a good point that australians are big into rockabilly and most of the characters were dressed like that.
