Some actors do some work for money, others for friends, they have something to do with it, or cause it's actually something they believe in, but enough about Ben Affleck.

Arnold tried to change, but he wasn't making money, so he went back to being Arnold. Same goes for Sly and every other action star walking God's green earth.

People like Cage do what they enjoy and do what gets the bills paid. Hell, if I was an actor so would I. It's completely acceptable, until it destryos your career, then you're up shit creek without a paddle. Sorry, didn't want to bring up Stallone again, but it happens.

But the original topic was screenplays, so let's talk screenplays. George Lucas, Kevin, the guys writing Potter and Tolkien, they are well known writers, mainly because people know many of their movies, or will. What other writers came you name that have multiple credits? There are so many ideas out there, and everyone's trying to make a buck or get there foot in the door the first thing they put out is utter shit. Unfortunately for them it usually Mark hammills them and people want the same story retold over and over again. It's just really sad.
