I thought that usually Super 35 films just showed what was on the whole negative when they were transfered to a full screen format, but I just finished watching the full screen transfer of JSBSB on the campus movie station (I own the DVD, but it was on TV so i watched it anyway) and some scenes seemed like the usual Super 35 transfer had taken place, while other scenes seemed like they were actually cropped from the 2.35:1 transfer.
Did whoever transfered it to full screen actually take the time to see if a shot cropped from the 2.35:1 transfer worked better than just using what was on the whole negative, or am I just seeing things? The latter is definetly possible considering I am exteremly drunk right now.
