I'm stealing this idea from Vincent, who answered the question in my thread about scenes you wish you'd made.

What non-film source material would you love to adapt into a kickass film?

I'd love to do a film version of Frank Zappa's JOE'S GARAGE, using the album as the literal soundtrack, i.e. the film would be almost like a really long music video. That'd be a logistical nightmare, but it seems like it's just waiting to happen, and I have so many visuals in my head for it.
