against Bartelby's attempt to enter the church. If God can look at his final act, and see that as repentance for his previous rebellion, I think he is in. He's human now, so he wouldn't go back to heaven as an angel, but just a human.
Martyrdom is a big key to getting out of a lot of years in purgatory.

And believe me, it took me a long time to figure out a way to get him into heaven. I was pretty sure he was stuck in hell, and I had to think of some way to get him out.

Kind of wierd since I haven't been to church in years.
I wonder if it's some kind of psychological transferrence?
