I wrote a big long post about this and then my ISP fucked me over and I lost the whole thing!
Anyway, I can't understand why no one ever considers that God actually planned the ENTIRE thing from kicking Bartleby and Loki out of Heaven and beyond.
If s/he hadn't kicked them out then she would never had close enough to Bethany to impregnate her and the Scion line would've died when Bethany did.
It all goes back to what Bethany's Mom said: "God has a plan for us all." Loki and Bartleby fufilled their part in that plan, the Christ line will continue, so there's no real reason for them to suffer any longer.
Besides if was pretty well established that God cannot make a mistake and yet, a bunch of people died as a result of his/her decision to send them to Wisconsin and not just snuff them out of existence or send them to hell instead.
Pretty big mistake to make, no? Unless of course s/he was fully aware of what would happen as result of that decision.
That's what I reckon anyway.
