I've just completed my weekly Holy Trilogy viewing (Star Wars, not Jersey) and I've found yet another thing that bugs me. This is a curse of a two year (96-97) obsession with trying to be like Randal. Anyway, I figure this isn't exactly off-topic as Star Wars has always been an intrical part the Askewniverse. So here it goes, throughout Empire and Jedi, every major Imperial action or event is cleared or reported to Vader. So, save the Emporer, Vader's the boss. Yet he seems to take orders or appear to be subservant to Grand Moff Tarkin. In fact Vader's at Tarkins right hand side for many of thier scenes together. Grand Mofff Tarkin also seems to be the only Imperial offical older than Vader. Is this some Jedi/age respect thing or does Tarkin remind Vader of Qui-Gon or somthing? Or is it somthing else.
