or you. You are right, the guy makes some sense. But i feel its Kevin's fans that brand him the "indy" cover boy. I think Smith knew what he was . .. i guess that is my point
: ...I just couldn't take the rolling boulders, short Asian sidekicks, and bullwhip ambushes in the locker room anymore, so I packed up my fedora and skedaddle out of there, only a map with a plane-drawn line of my travels to hint at where I might be next...
: Look, Kevin "sold out" the moment that "Clerks" was signed by Miramax, this is not a bad thing. "Selling out" usually is a good thing because it means something VERY good is being released to the masses...if it wasn't a good product, then why would the rapid cult fans be crying and wailing about "selling out"?
: Look, the guy sees some mild hypocricy(sp?) in some of Kevin's statements these days, and that's understandable to a degree...he's not really bashing Kevin too much, just kind of pointing and laughing to make himself feel better, while in the end he'll still see Kevin's next movie the weekend it comes out. Maybe even twice. What's the harm in a little venting?
