You put it perfectly...it's Kevin's fans that hold him up to be some kind of indie "god", while all along the man has just done what's he done, naturally progressing...he's written and directed all of his films with the same circle of people, so any changes he has made "up the Hollywood ladder" have pretty much been his own...I just feel for the original poster...he's probably just sad over his signed movie poster, and I would be too if I sent in my tickets...
