Seems that the estimates were a little off on ATTACK OF THE CLONES and, in fact, the four-day total on it did *not* beat the three-day total on SPIDER-MAN.
And just think how pissed the STAR WARS people [they need a name that's easy to say, comprable to 'Trekkers'] will be when (as Vin pointed out to me, it's not really a question of if anymore) SPIDER-MAN's box-office beats RETURN OF THE JEDI, which has the advantage of two additional re-releases.
