Of course it's just a rumor, but there has to be some validity to it if it's reported on the director's website. It's not like it was only reported on imdb.com and we're all talking about it here.
And you're right, Smith knows who to and who not to cast in his movies. We'll see. No heartattacks regardless, it's just kind of interesting and surprising to me is all.
