I was just talking last night about how certain inventions are so recent yet have become so vital so quickly -- can you imagine life before the Internet? Having to go to a library and wander through the stacks seeking the information you need rather than a five-second type and click operation? It's amazing.
On the other hand, it's also a much more efficient way to spread rumors. Marilyn Manson was Paul on the Wonder Years, you know.
