I realise that a lot of people have mentioned Bill Hicks in their posts, I just wondered seeing as his recent biography albeit a potted history (pardon the pun)has been released whether you have been asked about making a film about Bill Hicks?
Why do you think that the american film industry hasn't made a film about a comedian that told the truth but made one about, Andy Kaufman, who from how he was portrayed seemed to be stupid rather than a genuis? Bill Hicks challenged ideas, beliefs, and told dick jokes, now that seems to me like a hit movie, perhaps i am wrong? Some may say that sounds like a Kevin Smith movie?
I guess I am a fan who feels sort of duty bound to expand the horizons, and pass on the message, but here in the UK I can still say that ALL of our music stores stock all of his CD's and most of his videos. I wonder if you could say the same about his own country?
