The movie wasn't all that bad. The effects were as better than ever, Jar-Jar was reduced (there is a God!) to a bit player and the Fett storyline was a real bonus. On the lame side, the love story was perhaps the worste I have ever seen. Has Lucas ever been in love? Or with a woman? Jeez, it made my skin crawl. And Yoda doing his Matrix moves just about had me falling out of my seat. Then again, there was always some cheekiness in the Star Wars films.
Still, I would have liked a bit more. I don't know, the movie just had no teeth. Well, everyone has already written their critiques long ago (and far away) so I won't bother. I just hope that the 3rd has some more dark currents running through it and isn't so popcorn.
