I agree with the whole "mind games" fiasco that films are trying now. Most fall short. If they want to make a "trippy" film..then by all means, take time with it.
Memento, so far, is the only movie I've seen in ages that pulled off a good mental film. It was filmed right, it looked as if they took a long time andlaboured at it to make it perfect and belivable that the main character had a problem. Vanilla Sky made me feel like I wanted to pull the plug on Tom two hours earlier.
