we are turning our kids into wimps!!! i remember the days when wed get hurt playing, and that was part of the fun. i played man hunt once, jumped behind a stack of 2x4s and as someone else jumped over them to hide behind them with me (it was night and it was on top of a hill so we were laying down on the hill facing the 2x4s) he kicked them and half of them fell on my head. it hurt like hell but i didnt run home crying. id come home with skinned knees, black eyes, broken noses, ive fallen down cliffs etc. but you dont hear me complaining. its all part of growing up and if these kids dont learn to deal with it now, how are they going to deal with rejection and hurt in the real world when they grow up????
