Yeah I hope so too.
I loved the first one.
Then I crashed when the second one came out, I can't beleive he did that, he basically recycled all the jokes from the first one, but out of context of the whole fishout of water (60's in the 90's) premise that were the heart of the jokes.
It was almost like some upper echelon movie mogul types decided to hash the first script and say, "lets stick w/ what works, just redo all the same gags exactly as-is, just back in the 60's." sorta power-lunch sorta deal, which imho ruined the movie.
Hopefully Myers returned to just writing a completely new story instead of another powers 2 debacle.
