A right is more like permission, like a right to bear arms. Legally we can have sex with consenting adults not minors. Thats the law. When we talk about 'rights' it is better served for statements like "we don't have the right" to do something sexual. I have more then a right to masturbate. I just can. A right to it is the lesser part of it.

Violence is a different topic. To sum it up with my opinion on the matter, violence is all in the eyes of the one receiving violence. Spanking is violent to some but fun to others.
