Plays are meant to be acted not read, which is why it seems stupid that so many highschools put such a focus on reading shakespeare, it would be like reading screenplays instead of novels, it is a nice change now and again, but really were not written to be read or for literary content, it doesn't make any sense to me, I think if shakespeare were alive he'd be upset that we read his work the way that we do....
: shakespeare and put it down. i consider myself pretty bright, but i just cant get through his plays.
