The female Pre Cog was having some flashback visions, and anyone who worked there including Anderton could have eventually figured it out, Anderton wasn't even looking into it....especially if they rolled out the pre crime unit nationally someone might have figured it out... I just think it didn't make sense.....the rest of the movie made sense to me, just not why Lamar was going after Anderton
Additionally, I think the whole cliche of him being a good cop, resorting to drugs, because he lost his son was too cliche.....MENDOZA! It worked in the movie, but I expect more from Spielberg
: He was set up because he found out about Anne Lively and if he found out the truth then that would be the end of Pre-crime. Lamar couldn't handle that.
