Back when I worked in a video store, it was awful around father's day and Christams - why? because everyone wanted to try out their new DVD player, and came back to us demanding refunds for "black bars that cut out half the picture".
So I made up a 3X4 foot diagram and put it over in the DVD section. Whenever someone asked, I pointed to it. That way they got the message, and I never had to give a refund for what was CLEARLY STATED ON THE BOX.
