Big screen? Like the one in your Daddy's living room? My advice is to shoot on 8mm, you can just shoot and shoot like crazy and work it out on your Daddy's iMac. As far as stars, I'd say aim low, like the cast of Friends or any friends you have. Backyard is a good place to film.
Unless you are actually Invader Zim and Johnny the Homicidal Maniac creator Jhonen Vasquez. If not, you might also want to check with him to make sure it's okay to do a "addaptation" of his work. For the big screen and all.
