Even when he is told he will kill the guy, he still doesn't believe it. He finds out only moments before meeting him, making it a spur of the moment killing, when he sees the pictures. Yes, he doesn't really kill him but that's because he knew what his future was (killing the guy if that hadn't told him that he would kill him). Kind of hard to wrap your brain around but it does make sense.

That's what I mean, it would have been red, but he did NOT kill him on purpose, as you stated above. That's what I was trying to say. Sorry...
