Look, when i watch a flick like that i suspend all belief and i expect it to be cheesy. Should i expect great dialogue when i watch a show like that? NO NO NO.
Ok, it is not the best film in the world - but i would not have felt cheated in the theater. For one reason. The only thing i did not expect at all is him giving away the money at the end. Yeah it makes sense - - -dressed like Santa and all . .but i did not think some one who went through that shit to do that.
Was the dialogue bad at times? yes. Was mallrats dialogue bad? yes. J & SB SB .. yep. My guess it that it is all a big joke with Affleck on this film. If it isn't then FUCK ALL OF YOU...if it is, then now i finally understand. Reindeer games is no less believable than Die Hard(s) or the Lethal Weapons. . .
and i know the Mallrats Ben Affleck lurked here, but i bet the Sum of All Fears Benn Affleck does not.. Ben, if you ever read this, dont listen to that shit if it is not real. You were the bomb ion Phantoms and Reindeer Games....
