Kevin doesn't like to talk about, especially since it just happened yesterday, but he had a near-death experience with a horde of stampeding elephants in downtown Philly yesterday. See, M. Night Shymalan was ringing in the release of "Signs" by riding down Broad Street on a legion of pachyderms and shouting good tidings through a megaphone. Kevin turned out to watch, and instead of a parade of happiness, wound up witnessing a violent incident when one of Shymalan's fans shoved a peanut into M.'s elephant's ass, inciting the elephant to lose his cool and run away. The rest of the elephants followed suit, and Kevin narrowly evaded one of the quicker ones while back-flipping over another...
M. got away unscathed, eerily floating above the streets and cackling when the elephants took off. His next film "On An Elephant's Back" begins production in 2003...
